"Chevy Van" is one of the ultimate summer tunes. The lyrics and the groove are very evocative.

I've never seen a pic of Sammy Johns until now. He looks like what I had imagined.

I agree. This song reminds me of one of my first girlfriends. Happened to be a neighbor of mine with blonde hair. Anywho... summertime and warm nights talking on the front stoop is was this song does for me.
